Let me be your business bestie.

Hi, I'm Ginya Sasson and I've been passionate about the fitness industry since my first step aerobics teaching job in 1999. Since then, I've worked in gyms and boutique fitness studios teaching everything under the sun and I eventually worked as a Group Fitness Manager for a chain of 7 gyms in Michigan. In 2011, I fell in love with yoga and that love led me to opening my first hot yoga studio in 2014. Opening a business was the hardest but most fulfilling thing I've ever done. Looking back, I think about how lonely it was and how I wish I had a mentor with experience in my field. I was truly winging it but determined to teach myself everything I needed to know to make my business a success. Today have 4 locations across 2 states and my studios gross over a million dollars in annual revenue.

Now I want to help women, like myself in 2014, who want to start a business and don't know where to start or who are drowning in their existing business and don't want to quit their dream.

If you build it, they will come…right?

That’s what I thought. How hard could it be?

The fact is, there’s so much more to success than just opening your doors. You need good marketing so people know you exist. You need an actual brand that calls people in. You need to hire the right people and train them properly. You need an intro offer that people can’t resist and a sales & retention plan to keep them around. You need the right scheduling software to make it easy for your members to sign up for classes. You need to build a community, not just 4 walls.

I have gone through 4 lease negotiations and build outs and have built 4 strong communities. I’ve seen it all. When my 4th location opened in a new state in 2024, we did $25,000 in pre-opening sales. (Yes, before our doors even opened!) I can tell you opening my first studio looked NOTHING like that. This was a direct impact of a decade of learning the industry.

I can help you improve your operations or open your doors for the very first time, but when you hire me, I won’t just disappear after your Grand Opening. You’ll get a full year of support and guidance from me. We’ll work through everything together as you learn what does and doesn’t work for your community.

My values.

Respect your team: I believe (and my business is proof) that you can have a successful and profitable business without undercutting your staff. Your instructors and desk team members have the biggest impact on your members’ experience. They deserve to be paid well and treated with respect. If you want a loyal team, this is non-negotiable. When employees feel valued, they stick around.

Know your worth: Your time, energy and services are valuable. Your prices should reflect that and your intro offer simply cannot be “1st class free”.

Be Inclusive: Everyone should feel welcomed in your space regardless of their gender, sexuality, race or body size.

Make it easy: It should be easy for your members to sign up for classes and buy memberships. This means prices should be clearly listed on your website (not kept a secret) and new clients shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to sign up for their first class.

Do you really need a business coach?

A shocking 81% of fitness businesses close in their first 5 years. I have a few theories on why this is, but the main one being that fitness and yoga instructors are so eager for a space of their own to teach, that they are looking past the logistics of opening and running a business. The same can be said for many other industries. In my 10 years of business ownership, I’ve learned from trial and error what does and doesn’t work when it comes to marketing, pricing, and more. And while I don’t believe there’s a one-size-fits-all solution for every business, I do believe your chances of success are significantly higher if you bring someone like myself along for your journey.

It all starts with a daydream.

On the fence about the whole business coaching thing? Let’s start with a 45-minute daydreaming session. Tell me all about you, your business, your goals and we’ll see if it’s a fit. Whether you want to start a business from scratch or you’re struggling to make ends meet in your existing business, I believe I can help.
